Hello, my name is Björn Flóki Björnsson.

I am a 30 year old Icelander who loves to make films, take photos and design stuff.

I recently moved to New York City to complete an MA in Media Studies and Film at the New School. I’ve always been fascinated by the transformative power of media to change the way people think. The power to stir up new, intense emotions.

As a mediamaker I try to reproduce the world around me in a new light, in hopes to cast fresh perspectives on the familiar. I’m interested in the intangible details in everyday life, and how the seemingly monotonous or mundane can be illuminated if given the right attention.
